Meet James O. Born, Saturday Keynote Speaker James O. Born is a five-time published mystery author and popular blogger. He's a former US Drug agent and currently works for the Florida State Department of Law Enforcement. His third novel, Escape Clause, won the prestigious Florida Book Award for best novel. His fifth mystery novel, Burn Zone, features ATF agent Alex Duarte. He's also publishing a science fiction novel called The Human Disguise (published by TOR books, under the name James O'Neal).
Although James is an incredibly successful writer--all while working his day job--his success wasn't immediate. As a writer, he's been through his share of rejection; it's part of the process. His keynote talk will be on how to use that rejection to focus your writing. All of us who strive to get, or stay, published have to use our rejections if we want to later rise to future success.
Visit James' websites here and here, and read his blog musings.

Meet Bob Sanders, Sunday Keynote Speaker
Bob Sanders and Dan Reitz started Mundania Press in August 2002 to reprint one of Piers Anthony's out-of-print books, Pornucopia. Since then, Mundania has grown to include works by more than 88 authors, both in hard copy and e-book formats.
As a publisher who works in both the traditional print-and-mortar and digital worlds, Bob has a front-row seat to view the massive changes taking place in the publishing industry. Those changes will affect everyone involved in any genre, both fiction and non-fiction, including writer, agent, editor, publisher, and reader.
Bob's Sunday morning keynote will be about the changes the publishing industry is currently experiencing and what the future holds for everyone involved. There may not be a more timely topic for anyone working to get published.
