YOUR TAX-DEDUCTIBLE donations are being solicited for the silent auction to be held at the conference. Electronics, vacation packages, books, jewelry, and gift certificates are all welcomed as auction items.  FWA warmly welcomes ASHEVILLE, North Carolina Writers into the fold. Led by award-winning author and teacher David Pereda, the Asheville Writing Enthusiasts meet twice monthly.
Carolyn Hennecy reports that the LAKELAND group challenges members to write 50 words on a selected topic to share at their general meetings.
TAMPA has a new daytime critique group.
Claudette Parmenter posted some smart writing group tips on LADY LAKE's blog.
PASCO/NEW PORT RICHEY posted photos of their April mini-conference. Be sure to the read the "tidbits," too. After a harrowing prequel, the event was a great success.
