May 15 is Neighborhood Day

What are you going to do?

May 15 is Neighborhood Day, where lots of communities, churches and organizations put on events to highlight their community support and to bring their neighbors together.  Arlington County values these neighborhood events so much that Arlington Parks, Recreation & Communications want to help you promote them to the community (and promote what you are doing to the rest of the County!)

This year, APRC is getting a number of great events to push out.  Can we add something happening in your neighborhood?  There are tree plantings, community cookouts, concerts, dedications and fun festivals.  What are you doing and how can we help you make it the best ever?

Let APRC know what you are planning. They'll confirm the information prior to publishing it on the County web and in the Arlington Connection and Arlington Sun Gazette.

APRC has also put together a list of resources you that will help you put on an event ... Great County Resources.

Help APRC make this the best Neighborhood Day ever! No community gathering is too small or Arlington celebration too big.  Be neighborly on Neighborhood Day and remember, make a friend on Neighborhood Day and take them to the Taste of Arlington on May 16.
