Elaine J. Masters, Del Mar Heights author and founder of Trip Wellness and The YoGo Project, is one of two scholarship winners from the San Diego Publishers and Writers of San Diego and the Independent Book Publishers Association, to attend the IBPA Publishing University and Book Expo, May 22 through 26th, in New York City.

The Independent Book Publishers Association scholarship will cover the Publishing University and culminate at the Ben Franklin Book Awards dinner. Elaine will also explore Book Expo America and the Blog World New Media exhibits before returning to San Diego. She will speak about her experience, along with Barbara Wallace, the other local scholarship recipient, at the next Publishers and Writers of San Diego meeting on May 27th in Encinitas.

The YoGo Project is dedicated to creating products to help increase travel enjoyment and well being. Elaine is the author of Drivetime Yoga, which was a finalist at the San Diego Book Awards. The Drivetime Yoga CD set, won the Indie Excellence Award for Best Audio. The tips booklet, Flytime Yoga was selected as the Hot Idea by Meetings & Conventions Magazine.
