Dear fellow laughter enthusiasts,

We enjoyed leading the wonderful Laughter & Silence retreat in July and received excellent feedback. Our analytical minds were so diminished when we finished the retreat - the phrase we always mention: "You can't laugh and think at the same time" - became very real. During our group debriefing at the end of the retreat, it seemed many of us had something to say, but were either too tired or had laughed every bit of stress out... no one quite knew how to articulate their thoughts.

Several people later reported, "I know I got alot out of this, I just don't know exactly what yet."  It seems significant shifts happened outside of the left-brain consciousness. Laughter comes from a deeper place and it transforms deeply, sometimes leaving us without words to go with our experience. Then one day, for example, we notice many of the things that used to urk us no longer do - they might even make us smile.

If you'd like to kick off the Certified Laughter Yoga Leader Training with a Laughter and Silence retreat (optional), from 1-5 p.m. on Friday, please join us! It will be less intense than the all-day retreat. You'll enjoy much quiet time in stunning scenery!

Please join us for our third Certified Laughter Yoga Leader Training, October 14- 16, 2011 - at the same location, Heartstone Lodge and Retreat Center in Lexington, Va. You don't need to be pursuing leader certification to attend. If you'd like to come just to laugh and relax, you're welcome! Bring family and friends to tour the area and enjoy the beautiful fall foliage.

We're offering a $50 off tuition if you register early by August 31.

Newly certified leaders Estelle Brodeur and Susan Shuller from our last training have hit the ground running and are leading well-attended laughter clubs! Extreme YAYs!

I've been enjoying designing some small business websites and completely redesigning the YogaLaughs site. I'm also writing a new e-book, Grow and Market Your Laughter Club in 15 Minutes a Day for 30 Days. Jon and I have taken up organic raw juicing, inspired by the film, Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead. It's streaming on Netflix.

We hope this finds you well and laughing. Email us with any feedback and funny stuff for newsletters.

Much laughter, love and peace,

Leigh & Jon
