Dear Fellow Laughter Enthusiasts,

Happy 4th of July! Independence from stress and the blues through years of practicing laughter yoga - that's one of my celebrations.

If you have benefited from a laughter yoga session with us, specifically The Charlottesville Laughter Club (formerly the Ageless one) please show your gratitude by attending more meetings. This of course will benefit you AND will help us establish a consistent larger group. Larger groups generally help people relax more because they don't feel quite so "on the spot" during laughter exercises. We've been meeting for over four years and want to continue with your support! Very good, YAY and thank you!

The beginning of July means planning fall events. We're ha ha happy to announce we'll once again be in Lexington, Virginia, for a Certified Laughter Yoga Leader Training and Laughter Immersion Retreat! The dates are: October 14-16, 2011.

We had requests for more time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings from our May training, so we're opening the retreat center at 1 p.m. Friday. It's optional to arrive early to, for example, hike the nearby trails and enjoy the river. If for no other reason, come enjoy the beautiful peak fall colors in the mountains of Virginia.

We're also offering early registration, current certified leader and bring-a-friend discounts! More information to come soon! If you already know you're attending, please just reply to this email and let us know.

The July 16th Laughter and Silence Retreat is filling up - please let us know if you're planning to attend as soon as you can. We want you there!

Thank you for reading this - for your interest - for your support! We are fortunate and grateful for you!

Laughlovepeace,

Leigh and Jon

We'll learn about the latest research connecting laughter and health, including video clips, testimonials, skype and more!

Afer warming up our laughter with a typical laughter yoga session, the rest of the day will be spent in various intervals of laughter and silence as a path to relax the mind and open the heart.

This is so worth your listening! Brilliant playing of While My Guitar Gently Weeps, by George Harrison. Not funny, but made me weep!
