Happy New Year (for no reason)!

 

To find joy this year for no reason, try laughing for no reason. When laughter yoga can be practiced as creative exercise, you never know when you might "bust out" into a genuine, hearty belly laugh.

 

As we continue our fourth year leading and teaching laughter yoga, we are reminded of how many of our resolutions have been helped by laughter for no reason. Regular laughter changes your perspective, no matter what the perspective. Inevitably, burdens lighten, stress is manageable and good things are magnified.

 

So much more than laughter happens in a laughter yoga session. Laughter has a way of being completely under our control, yet completely transformative at the same time. What does it transform? It's automatically customized to what you need. I've heard testimonials of everything from physical pain being relieved to deep emotional healing, to spiritual reconnection -- it's apparently "all there" within the simple power of us laughing. 

 

Many of our resolutions require some ease in order to complete them. Laughter helps bring that ease. It helps us move forward -- gets us, "unstuck".

 

We hope to see you at as many events as possible and at The Senior Center each Sunday from 3-4 p.m.
