History is being made in our generation!
Revival is happening in the porn industry and women and men are being set free from the porn industry and living powerful new lives thanks to many of you who donated toward their recovery.

 Madelyne, formerly known as porn actress Michelle Avanti, came to Pink Cross for help in January, 2009, when she cried out to God because she couldn't live the porn lifestyle anymore. God heard her cry and she is now living a new life thanks to many of you who donated! She also gave birth to a beautiful baby girl in August, 2009, so please send in baby clothes in good condition for size 1 year and above.  Amber, formerly known as porn actress Jessie Jewels, contacted Pink Cross in Novermber, 2009, for support and is living a brand new life in Jesus Christ! We are SO proud of her. You can read Amber's story here.
 Ryan, formerly known as porn actor Trent Roe, contacted Shelley in November, 2007, for support and is living a brand new life in Jesus Christ! Ryan writes in his testimony, "Last Christmas I got a call from Shelley asking me for my address. She wanted to help me because I was having a difficult time and I was low on money for food. About 3 days later I got a package in the mail from a foundation named The Pink Cross Foundation. I opened it up wondering what the Pink Cross was and who this was from. It was from Shelley and her husband Garret and the people at Pink Cross. I got a BIBLE and some other books as well as a DVD named Traffic Control. There was also a gift card for the grocery store and Home Depot. I was floored!"
Ryan has been a HUGE help to Pink Cross by helping at porn conventions and spreading the truth about pornography.  Diana, formerly known as porn actress Desi Foxx and her daughter , left porn in July 2009 and we were able to help them with rent, utilities, resources, carepackages and more. Diana loves the books we have sent her to help her walk closer to God in her recovery. Diana is also a powerful advocate against the abuse in the porn industry and now has a job working for a human trafficking organization so we applaud her for working hard in her recovery as well as passionately standing up for the truth!  Patrice, formerly known as porn star Nadia Styles, Patrice contacted Pink Cross for help and left porn in December, 2008. We were able to reach out to her with mentorship, carepackages, resources, a place to live and she even got baptized! Patrice also joined Shelley and other former porn actresses to testify about the abuses in the porn industry at California State Capitol where lawmakers were floored by our testimonies!  Julie formerly known as porn actress Sierra Sinn

Former Porn Star Alexa Milano Needs Our Help Now!
I was a stripper, model and porn star from 1995-2006. I am formerly known as Alexa Milano.
I was naïve when I first started stripping. A friend of mine suggested I try out on "audition" night at a local strip club and of course my heart was saying, "No, I can't do this!" But I saw girls dancing and men literally throwing money at them on the stage!!! But I still couldn't do it.
I kept thinking about the INSTANT CASH and that I'd be able to pay my bills, buy food, whatever! So, I showed up and there I was standing on the stage, almost naked in front of probably 200 guys hooting and hollering and THROWING MONEY at me!!!
I was scared to death but had seen all the money! I finished my song...a few others took their turn and next thing I know they announced the winner and it was.....ME!!! The attention from men and the money were too good to pass up. But time would prove me wrong and I began to feel dirty and used by men.
I already had a past history of abuse by men, including my alcoholic father who beat my mother daily and then shot himself in the head in front of me when I was nine years old. My mother never allowed us to speak of it. So I never received healing or understood what love meant. I only knew the abuse I saw growing up. Stripping offered me the attention and love I desperately craved and because I was naïve I swallowed the lie.
One night while I was working, I was approached by a well known porn star who feature danced at the club I was stripping at. She told me how great the money in porn was and that I would be safe in the porn industry. She made it sound so glamorous. Next thing you know I'm off to Los Angeles to become a porn star.
I did a few porn movies but it was so traumatizing that I eventually went back to stripping. I couldn't handle the pain and trauma of making porn. The sex acts were extremely painful and degrading.
My first movie I was treated very rough by 3 guys. They pounded on me, gagged me with their penises, and tossed me around like I was a ball! I was sore, hurting and could barely walk. My insides burned and hurt so badly. I could barely pee and to try to have a bowel movement was out of the question. I was hurting so bad from the physical abuse from these 3 male porn stars! I swore I'd never do porn again but here I was being flown back to Los Angeles again only this time for a very well known porn company.
I ended up doing a few scenes for this new kind of DVD that was new to the industry where, when we did scenes, the porn star guys face would never be shown....only the girls. These DVD's were the kind where when a fan would buy it, they could pick and choose what kind of scene they wanted to view such as blow jobs, Mish, anal, girl/girl, etc. It was a horrible experience and I just wanted out of there!
There was always alcohol and drugs readily available on the sets. Whatever you wanted, they would or could get it. In fact, the set I worked on for two videos, the stars had their own "doctor" with them! I would see the doctor giving out pills or giving B12 injections (or so they told me it was B12!) I never got involved with any major drugs, I only smoked marijuana and drank Vodka.
As I began to hate porn more and more I remember one porn set where a director really frightened me when she pulled down her pants to show off her Herpes. That did it for me.
I returned to stripping and suddenly my life came crashing down around me when I was involved in a serious car accident with my alcoholic/drug addict boyfriend in 2006. It was the wakeup call I needed and it changed my life forever.
The next thing I knew was I woke up in the hospital with a ruptured bladder, lacerated spleen, kidney & liver, broken ribs, dislocated shoulder, soft tissue damage in my left shoulder and a laceration of my upper right arm. I had a shattered femur and now have a titanium rod.
Since 2006, I have been in recovery from the accident and unable to work. I have carpal tunnel in both hands from using a walker for a few months and I had to have surgeries on both elbows. I also have arthritis in my hip and elbows where the screws are.
Somehow I managed to survive that accident, but I was in the trauma unit for 2 weeks. I did physical therapy, but never received therapy for my mental or emotional feelings. I tried a psychologist and he made me feel worse by giving me psych meds. I hated him and the meds, plus I didn't have insurance and could not afford his fees.
I received a small settlement from the accident for which I lived on for the past 3 years. It is gone. I am with nothing and cannot work due to my filing of an SSI claim. I can't get regular disability because I didn't pay into social security enough money to cover me, so I had to file for SSI.
Right now I owe 4 months back rent as well as ALL my other bills. I'm very depressed and feeling worthless at this very minute. It's hard for me to even type.
All this for walking into an industry I thought was glamorous. The drugs, the alcohol, the drunk I met in the strip club who I trusted to drive me home that night. No, the sex industry is not glamorous. Hanging out with drug addicted alcoholic sexually diseased people who abuse and hate is not glamorous.
I have a hard time making and keeping friends. Everyone thinks of me as a stripper/porn star. I am virtually a recluse in my home. When I go out, I do not look at people, and I prefer to keep to myself. I just feel very dirty and used from my past in the exotic entertainment business.
I try to get close to God because when I was younger my mother took me to church and instilled good Christian values in me. I have ALWAYS been a Christian and known that God must have been watching over me. I should be dead by now but I have to believe I'm here for a reason.
I really want to go back to the Baptist church where I was baptized but I am afraid they will judge me for my past.
That's when I was flipping through the channels one day and saw the "MTV True Life" episode with Shelley and Pink Cross Foundation on there and was so excited that there is a group that we, as ex porn stars can go to and find hope and prayer! Amen!!! The Pink Cross site is totally awesome and I am so darn proud of Shelley for making such a wonderful place for us to go to for encouragement and prayers. The site is big and I actually haven't been able to check it all out, but I will!! From what I've seen and read, it is absolutely remarkable!!! I signed up for the newsletter and I also am going to get help in the forums.
I am so grateful for the help Pink Cross offers and already I feel there really is hope for me and as Shelley keeps telling me, "God has a special purpose for me." I really want to believe that. I hope my story is part of that special purpose and helps many who are thinking of getting into the sex industry or who are addicted to pornography. I want them to know the truth so they don't have to suffer like many of us have.
Porn is not glamorous. It hurts people. It almost killed me. But praise be to Jesus Christ I am still here to tell my story.

Pink Cross Reaches Out to Thousands at the AEE Las Vegas Porn Convention!
Pink Cross Foundation passionately reached out to thousands of porn stars and porn fans offering love, hugs, free gifts and Bibles, the truth about pornography as well as prayer and ministry right in the middle of a porn convention!
God really showed up and did AWESOME things among us at this convention and we want to wholeheartedly thank those of you who supported us!
SOME of SHELLEY'S FAVORITE HIGHLIGHTS:
1) Team members April, Jan and Heather were ordained by Shelley right outside the convention before we went in. Shelley ordained these faithful servants as Chaplains so there would be FOUR ordained Chaplains ready to serve and offer ministry and prayer.
2) Being sent by God to go to the top of the Stratosphere Tower which is the tallest free standing observation tower in the United States to prophesy and pray over the nation and the porn industry was wild! God made me read from Zechariah 13 and 14 and to declare the coming of Jesus as well as pray for those who are trapped by the lie of porn and for our nation to return to the God of Jesus Christ so our great people can be healed. It was a really heavy moment for me and I could barely stand under the power of God.
2) Another great move of God was when we handed out pink bags full of goodies, makeup, Bibles, STD info, DVDs, CDs and more to Porn stars and some came by our booth to receive prayer. One precious woman literally fell into my lap in tears and I was able to meet with her privately to talk about getting her out of the industry. Please keep her in your prayers!
3) Heather, Scott and I stood outside the AVN Awards Show and prayed for porn stars as they walked down the red carpet. It was a miracle we got in front as there were thousands of screaming fans.
 We also gathered as a team and prayed powerfully against wickedness in the porn industry while praying God would intervene and rescue those trapped in porn.
We walked around to every corner of the convention and prayed holding up the Word of God.
Shelley read the Word of God out loud for four days straight while other team members prayed and prophesied.
Fans and porn stars were shocked, touched and not sure what to really think of us. But they definitely knew God was visiting them and we aimed our prayers at many porn stars believing they will be out of porn this year so EXPECT HUGE miracles to happen in the porn industry this year!
Already SEVEN women have come to us for help since the Las Vegas outreach!

Valentines Day "Celebrate Love" Photos of Garrett and Shelley.
 February 14th, 2010, was more than just Valentine's Day for Garrett and Shelley Lubben.
It also marked their 15th wedding anniversary. So, to celebrate our love and inspire marriages all over the world we decided to have pictures taken to inspire couples to NEVER GIVE UP on their marriage.
But there are more behind those photos than the perfect loving couple. In truth, Garrett and Shelley have been through everything from drug and alcohol addiction, sexual healing, recovery from porn, military life, early cervical cancer for Shelley, raising three children, losing two children, and learning how to trust in God to help them turn around what seemed totally impossible into the possible!
Today Garrett and Shelley are living Champion lives doing the possible for God. As ordained Chaplains they reach out to those trapped in the darkness of porn with a great Light. They work tirelessly to inspire the world to stop viewing pornography which only devastates marriages and individuals. They inspire and teach people how to put their trust in a loving God who offers that same possible future He offered and promised to give to Garrett and Shelley.
God is the ultimate and ONLY Promise Keeper!

About Shelley Lubben and Pink Cross Foundation
 Shelley Lubben is an American Missionary.
Shelley Lubben is a wife and mother, ordained Chaplain and missionary to the sex industry, fighter for truth and advocate for sex workers and porn performers who are abused by the adult industry.
Shelley is also a former porn actress fighting tirelessly against the pornography industry which affects most of the world in a destructive way. Unrelenting in the cause of human rights, Shelley is passionate to educate people all around the world about the abusive and illegally operating porn industry as well as inspire the world to stop viewing pornography and stop contributing to the destruction of men and women who are being abused daily in the pornography industry.
Shelley's message: PORN IS NOT GLAMOROUS.
Because of the huge epidemic of sexually transmitted diseases, drugs and prostitution, and abuse toward adult industry workers with lack of help available, Shelley and her husband Garrett founded the Pink Cross Foundation, a nonprofit public benefit corporation created to reach out to adult industry workers offering emotional, financial and transitional support for those who want out of porn and the sex industry.
Shelley has been working with adult industry workers since 2002 when she began volunteering as a teacher and counselor at local rescue missions and prisons in the State of California. She has worked at Madera Rescue Mission, Bakersfield Rescue Mission, Central California Women's Facility Prison, and Valley State Prison for Women and has traveled throughout the United States as a speaker and counselor on the negative effects of pornography at various recovery programs, churches and secular organizations. Shelley and her team have worked with thousands of people struggling with pornography addiction in the Pink Cross Foundation Help Forums as well as reach out to thousands of porn stars and sex workers through outreach and individualized care packages.
A former stripper, prostitute and pornographic actress in the 80's and 90's, Shelley suffered major negative effects of the pornography industry and was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Depressive Disorder, Impulse Control Disorder and substance abuse due to years of trauma from the sex industry.
In 1994, she was infected with the non-curable disease Genital Herpes while making a pornographic film and later developed early cervical cancer. Shelley had three unexpected pregnancies from prostitution acts, two ending in miscarriages. Later, with her husband, she had an Entopic pregnancy and a third miscarriage. FOUR total pregnancy losses. Shelley understands very well how destructive the pornography industry is.
After finding God through Christianity and enduring eight hard years of recovery at the Champion's Center in Tacoma, Washington, Shelley was able to live a normal healthy Champion life.
Shelley received her Bachelor's of Theology degree at Vision International University in California on December 7, 2009 and is an ordained Chaplain with the Order of Saint Martin.
Shelley has attended Pierce College in Tacoma Washington for her general academics, Wisdom For Life Leadership School in Tacoma Washington and Harvestime International Bible College where she received a Christian Workers Certificate in Biblical Studies in 2003. Shelley majors in Theology and minors in Counseling.
Shelley is also the executive director of Pink Cross Foundation, a non-profit organization that reaches out to porn stars and sex workers to help them rebuild their lives as well as helping those who struggle with porn addiction.
Shelley enjoys raising her daughters, cooking, reading about great Reformers, sharing the good news and inspiring people to never give up and is extremely involved in missionary and social work.
Shelley speaks knowledgeably on such topics as the secondary negative effects of prostitution and pornography, the truth behind the porn industry, legislation concerning adult entertainment, how to overcome pornography addiction and other addictions, the risks and effects of sex work, sex education and other subjects to include Theology, Christianity, and more.
