Pink Cross Foundation boldly reached out at Exotic Erotic Expo in San Francisco to thousands of porn stars, pornographers, married couples, drug dealers, porn "artists", porn fans, S&M folks and even the security guards! We hugged necks, held people in our arms while we prayed for them, met up with some of our friends from past conventions, talked to porn stars, handed out the great news about Jesus and the not so great news about porn.
"Porn is not glamorous and Jesus has something better for You!"
That was our motto for the weekend and we lovingly told as many people as we could whether at the Pink Cross booth or when we ventured out to bring them gifts to their booths. It didn't matter to us if they were a porn star or a porn fan or a naked married couple, we were compelled to show everyone the love of Christ and often prayed for those who wanted it. What an honor to hold a drug dealer in our arms and pray for him. What a privilege to listen to people pour their hearts out while tears rolled down their faces. What a blessing to help porn stars realize they are made for something better than porn. To see God open so many eyes and touch people in such a beautiful way was absolutely amazing. He loves them so much!

Many people told us our love made all the difference in the world. They said in past years cruel protestors showed up outside the convention yelling and condemning them to hell instead of taking the time to speak gently to them and share the truth with them. Many thanked us for being kind and demonstrating to them what true Christianity is. That is so awesome!

We weren't only "hugs" though. We knew it was important to educate people about the truth about pornography and what they contribute to when they view pornography. We also shared with porn stars and girls thinking about doing porn the consequences they will reap from living that kind of lifestyle. Ex porn star Jan and I shared our testimonies and even made a few girls cry. Anastasia below reaches out to a woman caught up in the porn lifestyle.

We shared porn industry statistics which shocked most people. We put up videos of girls who left porn last year who shared their painful experiences in porn and their struggles in recovery. See former porn star Sierra Sinn below in a video sharing the truth about porn and how it affected her life. The hearts of the people were pierced and broken for the women in porn. It's never easy to show videos like that but people need to know the truth.

We believe strongly when people know the truth, the truth will set them free. We believe in lots of hugs, kindness, prayer and a good dose of truth. This fulfills the great commandment to love:
1 Corinthians 13:4-8
Love is patient, love is kind. (We reached out gently and gave hugs and gifts and took an interest in every person we met. We were patient when they asked questions or wanted to talk about their problems. We looked them in their eyes and really listened.)
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.(We didn't brag about how great we are or act arrogant but instead practiced humility and gentleness and pointed people to Jesus and the truth about porn.)
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking.(We didn't condemn anyone or argue when someone disagreed with us. We simply shared the truth, demonstrated love and if they didn't want to hear what we had to say, we thanked them for listening and offered them a free gift. Our goal was to plants seeds of love and truth.)
It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. (We didn't get offended when someone was cruel to us or made fun of us. We just kept smiling and offering love.)
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. (We didn't celebrate their evil behavior but instead we walked humbly among them, didn't judge them, and spread the good news about Jesus and the truth about porn.)
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. (We didn't give up. We worked hard to win them over, took an interest in their lives and encouraged them that Jesus has something better for them and after a while some of them trusted us to open up to us.)
Love never fails. (People met Jesus that weekend, were powerfully touched by God's love and some said they would never attend a porn convention again and would stop viewing pornography. Some of the girls stuck in porn have written me asking help from Pink Cross to do something better with their lives. Love never fails.)

If you would like to help us go to Las Vegas to reach out to porn stars and porn fans with the same love and passion please donate here. We really need your help as conventions are not cheap. We appreciate your support and for believing in what God has called us to do. We couldn't do it without you!
