Greetings!
Happy New Year! I love the sound of that. Three wonderful words filled with so much promise. 365 blank-page days just waiting to be filled. How will you fill yours?
I've been asking the Lord about that very thing these first few weeks of 2011. "What do you want my life to look like this year, Lord?"
I'm going to be blogging about that topic over the next few months, and I'd love to hear what God has been speaking to you in regard to the new year stretching out before us. What does He want your life to look like? (Go to my blog to respond.)

Exciting News

Lazarus Awakening
Part of my New Year includes some very exciting news - two and a half years in the making!
My new book, Lazarus Awakening: Finding Your Place in the Heart of God will be on bookstore shelves Tuesday, February 8th. Woohoo!!!
I was surprised to find a box of the new books on my doorstep the other day. It was pretty amazing to open the carton and see my little bookie-snookie looking back at me! I was busy, so I didn't have time to really appreciate the moment. But just before bed, my silly husband wrapped one of the copies in a blue towel and set it on my pillow so mother and child could have a chance to cuddle and bond! What a sweet daddy!

Yes girls, I realize February 4-5 is the same weekend as the Super Bowl, but the women's ministries at Highland Park Presbyterian have taken care of the party part for you. Check out the registration form at their site to order casseroles and appetizers you can purchase to take home for Sunday's big game. Now that's what I call ministry!!
I can't wait to see you at one of the events. I absolutely love Texas women - so much I want to be one of ya'll! Pray I can work up some big hair by February.

It is such a privilege to share my life with you. Though I don't know each of you by name, you are in my prayers. May the Lord bless and keep you. May His face shine upon you. And may you, above all things, know His amazing love, His incredible presence and His gracious peace.
I am so very grateful for each one of you. I'm constantly amazed that God would allow me the privilege of writing books that seem to help people in their walk with Him.
Though I've been terrible at responding to emails and keeping up with my blog during the past two years, I want you to know you are precious to me and often in my prayers.
May this new year be filled with the sweet presence of Jesus and may we all experience the joy of living resurrected as Lazarus did. Sweet friend, it's time to come forth!

PS - I'm told that the first week after a books release is the most important time of all. So if you're thinking about buying Lazarus Awakening, somewhere between February 8-15 would be great time!
