E-books and E-commerce

As we've been reporting since early April, the BK community is off to the races with e-books.  We now have almost 70 e-books on bkconnection.com and expect to have up to 150 digital titles on the site by the end of 2008.

But if Berrett-Koehler is doing this anyway with your titles, what's left for you to do?  That's the subject of this issue.  CLICK on the brand new Aspen Institute e-book to see today's BK Author Tip Sheet:

Following up on our recent Social Networks issue, Maren and Jamie Showkeir, Paul Polak, Stephanie Fry, and Brian Underhill are now my friends on Facebook.  And of course Jeevan is there.  Any other takers?  And here's a new social network page on Social Justice, profiling some of your books.

In the next issue, we'll cover online direct marketing. If you are still thinking about signing up with Constant Contact under the BK 15% discount program, here's the 60-day Free Trial.

If you missed any of the previous issues, please click on the topic below in the 2008 Tip Sheet Schedule, or you can always find the archive from the BK Authors Only tab on bkconnection.com.

Sincerely,
