If you haven't visited Facebook or MySpace yet, here's your chance. Teenagers and 20-somethings may have started this online trend, but now even baby boomers are getting the hang of it, making new friends and sharing personal, political, educational, and business goodies with each other.
My recommendation: Sign up to at least one social network over the next two weeks and add me as your online friend. I'm on most of the social networks mentioned in this issue. We start this issue with a shout out to Howard Rheingold, who predicted the rise of virtual communities back in 1993.
