A story of creation, love, hate, adventure (and sex!), THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW is the musical that created a sensation, spawning a cult-favorite film that's still running 35+ years after its premiere in 1975 -- earning it the title of the longest-running theatrical release in film history. With two hugely successful Broadway runs under its belt (1975 at the Belasco and 2000 at Circle in the Square), along with thousands of off-Broadway and regional runs, the stage version of Richard O'Brien's THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW is finally "Time Warp"-ing its way to the Conejo Valley! And like the film, this deliberately kitschy, rock-gothic "Science-Fiction Double Feature" is a surefire way to get your heart thumping! The Conejo Players Theatre -- known for 54 years of providing exceptional all-volunteer community theatre -- re-imagines this cult classic with fantastic new costume designs, an innovative and technically challenging set incorporating multimedia, a live rock band, and a cast of amazingly talented and exuberant local performers. We were the first community theatre to spring up in our area, and we need your help to offset the budget for one of the most unique and challenging shows we have ever done.
