Epic Wake Boats will make electric and hybrid boats and cars at a production facility in Vivian, La., creating approximately 400 jobs.

 

BP and Verenium Biofuels recently came to an agreement in which the oil and gas major would acquire the cellulosic ethanol portion of Verenium's business, including a facility in Jennings, La., for $98.3 million.
