Ed Bee tours Alternative Energy Lab
Last week Ed Bee became the first Economic Development consultant to visit the National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL) in Golden, Colorado. NREL, part of the U.S. Department of Energy, develops and advances Alternative Energies and related technologies through the entire R&D life cycle from basic research to demonstration. Most ED policy issues for the Alternative Energies are still being developed, and the race for the investment dollars ($148 billion in 2007, up 60% from 2006) and the jobs to be created is at full speed.
