Beverages & Business Cards  Join us the third Thursday of each month for an informal and informative evening where you can meet and mingle with local business people and community leaders. New members are highlighted and invited to "blow your own horn". Beverages and appetizers are provided by local business sponsors and different businesses will host the event at their location each month. Call us to find out how you can participate as a sponsor or showcase your business location. Beverages and Business Cards runs from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm so plan to stop in after work and take advantage of this great networking and educational opportunity. Kootenay Chamber Classic Golf Tournament - September 7, 2009 
Business & Pleasure joined to raise funds for Kimberley Helping Hands Food Bank!
In spite of less than ideal weather there was more than just a little fun and frivolity at our Third Annual Kootenay Chamber Classic Golf Tournament held this past Labour Day Monday. Big winners for the day included: Mens Champoins - Ray Dube, Ryan D'Etcheverry, Chad Girvin & Derick Anderson. Mixed Champions - Tod Caton, Megan Caton, Curtis Hrdlicka & Troy Clamp. Alisa Bodecker won the draw for OKKO's Target Shot contest. Thank you to all participants and we look forward to seeing you again next year!

President's Message for September
Dear Valued Member,
It has been a very active summer for the Chamber and we have engaged new
initiatives both internally and externally.
Internally, we have developed a new committee structure
enabling directors to effectively implement Board directives. Directors are
actively addressing issues ranging from advocacy to communication and including
many business in the decision making process. If you are interested in becoming
a part of the Chamber and joining one of our committees contact me as we would
welcome your expertise.
