Daisy Journey: Between Earth and Sky
Between Earth and Sky introduces girls to many wonders of nature: oceans, lakes, beaches, mountains, deserts, rolling plains. Experiencing this diverse terrain, with all its shapes and colors, furthers the Daisies' natural interests in math and science. The journey also underscores how essential the sciences and math are to any desire to protect Planet Earth.
Three leadership awards can be earned as girls work through this Journey:
- The Blue Bucket Award - encouraging girls to discover their feelings and the feelings of those around them.
- The Firefly Award - helps Daisies to connect with others as they recognize and develop their skills and then choose a skill they will educate and inspire others about.
- The Clover Award - earned as Daisies take action by teaming up to protect a natural treasure in their region
When Daisies have completed this journey, they will have a greater respect for themselves and the planet they live on.
