Legacy Badge: Girl Scout Way
Girl Scouts of the USA is turning 100 this month. As a Girl Scout Ambassador, you're perfectly poised to help our sisterhood fly into its second powerful century. Though the badges, books, and presidents have changed along the way, some things have always been the Girl Scout way: Through song and celebration, service and action, the Movement continues to educate, inspire, and bring people together. Share our legacy in this badge as you spread your wings and launch Girl Scouting into the future.
The Girl's Guide to Girl Scouting can help you explore Ambassador Girl Scout Ways by following these 5 steps:
- Use song to bring people together or to spread a message
- Celebrate World Thinking Day
- Share sisterhood around the world
- Leave your world better than you found it
- Enjoy Girl Scout traditions
When you have earned this badge, you'll know how to use the Girl Scout ways and traditions to make the world a better place. Get started on your Girl Scout Way badge today - refer to your Girl's Guide to Girl Scouting for complete instructions and activities.

Congratulations Troop 138!
The Girls Speak Out! contest gives you a chance to make your own Public Service Announcement (PSA) about what's important to you. If you're the top vote getter, your idea will be made into Girl Scouts' next PSA, professionally produced and all!
The first theme (The next 100 years...) ended in December 2011. The winner was actually a troop from right here in Southern Nevada! View their winning submission here.
The new theme is "we only have one planet". Make a PSA that asks others to go "green." Let people know what changes they can make - big or small - that add up to keep us all safe and healthy. Entries are due April 30, 2012. Voting will close May 15, 2012.
Click here for a chance to put your big ideas in front of a big audience. Good Luck and Have Fun!
