Wow, it's been a while. A lot has happened since our last newsletter. On Sunday, April 22nd, the Alumni Cruise, despite the horrendous weather, turned out to be an amazing success. While the rain stormed on the outside of the boat, you couldn't tell from the inside of the boat. The following day, we had an amazing turnout at the home of Gabi Gittleson, where we had a gathering for those that couldn't make it on Sunday. At the Yeshiva's 8th Annual Chinese Auction, there was a large alumni involvement. For starters, Pinny Ackerman and Yaakov Portnoy came to represent our corporate sponsors, PEYD. Additionally, many alumni won prizes, including Max Aquinin (twice), Yosef Rotenberg, Stuey Einhorn, Shlomo Korobeinikov, Gershon Rockove (twice), Gabi Gittleson, Chananya Kramer, Ezra Levy and Akiva Huffman. You can view the pictures of the Auction here. Shortly after Pesach, the Yeshiva opened the highly anticipated new Bais Medrash Wing. The wing, formerly know as the DDC, is now open for use for Bais Medrash Shiurim and is now known as the BMW. On Lag Baomer, the Bais Medrash had their Annual 2 on 2 Basketball Tournament while the High School went to a park to spend the afternoon playing ball and grilling with the Rabbeim. The Yeshiva is proud to be hosting a live hookup to the massive Asifah planned at CitiField on Sunday. If you will be in the area, please join us in the Jacob Family Bais Medrash at 7:00 PM for this momentous event.
Hope you enjoy the pictures below. Have a great Shabbos.
