Mazel Tov!
Greetings!

As Rosh Chodesh Nissan is now upon us, it only stirs up memories of one thing. The Annual Pre-Pesach Alumni Breakfast of course. (Why? You were thinking of something else?) This year's breakfast will be held on April 3rd. See the postcard below.

We are finalizing the plans for this year's New York Alumni Gathering after Pesach. Stay tuned for details.

Oh, that reminds me. The 8th Annual Chinese Auction will be taking place May 6th. Books have been printed and should be at your doorsteps shortly. The Second Annual Alumnus of the Year Award goes to Yekusiel and Chavie Sebrow. A Journal will be made in their honor. Keep a close eye on your inbox for details.

Hope you enjoy the pictures below.

Have a great Shabbos.

12th Grade Trip to Israel

By Matty Nightingale, 12th Grade. (The following article appeared in last week's Spotlight.)

On February 26th, the twelfth grade immersed themselves into a weeklong, full-throttle, spiritual odyssey to Eretz Yisroel. Following their success in fundraising a whopping $31,000, the 12th grade was fortunate enough to travel to Israel's finest hotspots and Makomos Torah including the Kosel Tunnel Tours, hiking up the Masada trail, an inspiring day in Tzfas, and an unforgettable experience at Maaras Hamachpela. Also on the itinerary were exclusive meetings with Gedolim such as Harav Pinchas Scheinberg ZT"L, Former Chief Rabbi of Israel Rabbi Ovadia Yosef Shlit"a and Torah pioneer Rabbi Avraham Kanerek Shlit"a. The excitement continued into Shabbos, with Kabbolos Shabbos at the wondrous Belz Bais Medrash. With Hassidic flavor still in their hearts, the group made a the rain-soaked walk to Meah Shearim, where we joined in the mesmerizing tisch at the Toldos Aharon Yeshiva. As Shabbos departed slowly, Rabbi Chait kept the geshmak alive with inspiring divrei chizuk during a heimeshe Shalosh Seudos. The day concluded with an emotional and meaningful jeeping excursion through the desert. As KLM flight 67 glided through the air, the talmidim tightly held onto the inspiration imprinted in their neshamos.
