Greetings!
Gutten Erev Shabbos.

Today is a very special day in Toras Chaim's history. The Yeshiva moved into their long-anticipated new hallway that everyone was waiting for with bated breath. Prior to moving in, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held. Rabbi Palgon, Rabbi Luban and Dr. Jacob all spoke about the specialness of the new hall. The hall had been under construction for over 18 months now. This edition of the Alumni Newsletter is dedicated to the new hall. All pictures are oft he hall itself and this morning's events. Additionally, you will find an article that appeared in today's edition of the YTC Spotlight.

Please continue to daven for Alta Sara bas Itta, mother of Brian Kramer, who needs a refuah.

Hope you enjoy the pictures below.

Yeshiva Moves into New Construction!

This morning, Yeshiva Toras Chaim High School moved into their newly remodeled educational space. The renovation project, encompassing over 10,000 square feet, includes the High School Bais Medrash, four new classrooms, the Media Center, science lab, teacher, administrative, and physical plant offices, staff kitchen and lounge, music suite, locker room, dormitory game and recreation lounge, and storage space. This area has been under construction for the last 18 months.

Students are particularly excited about our new Media Center. The Media Center has been generously dedicated by Dr. Jack Katz in memory of his mother, Bracha bas Yitzchok HaLevi, A"H. The center is sure to be the hub of activity during the school day as students research, learn, work with friends or alone, read and relax in the 1,300 square-foot facility. The center is also home to our Computer Center. With 23 flat-panel networked workstations, every YTC talmid will have his own login, account and storage space on our upgraded server.

We now have two technologically-enhanced classrooms each equipped with computers projectors and smartboards.

Rabbi Mordechai Palgon, Rosh HaYeshiva and Principal, commented, "We really owe a great debt of gratitude to HaKadosh Baruch Hu for allowing us to enhance our Torah learning and Secular Studies with this new space. We also would like to express heartfelt HaKoras HaTov to all those who worked so hard to make this dream a reality. Foremost in our minds and hearts, we would like to thank Rabbi Harayl Askotzky and Mr. Asher Perets for working tirelessly to bring about this day. Yasher Kochachem!"

Many new dedication opportunities are available! Please contact us by phone at 305-944-5344 or by email at [email protected] if you wish to dedicate a classroom, office or any other portion of the new construction. Donate now and let the merit of the Torah learned be a z'chus for you and your family for generations!
