Michael Elliott

Royal Scottish National Orchestra

The Royal Scottish National Orchestra has appointed director of culture at the Department for Culture Media and Sport, Michael Elliott, as its new chief executive, effective from August. He succeeds Simon Woods who became executive director of the Seattle Symphony Orchestra in April. Michael can be contacted through his assistant Susan Wilkie on 0141 225 3560.

Voice for Disability

Gemma Crowther has been appointed as the new chief executive of West Sussex-based charity Voice for Disability. Gemma can be contacted at info@wsad.org.uk.

Rachel Roxburgh

Dallaglio Foundation 

The Dallaglio Foundation, set up by former rugby international Lawrence Dallaglio in 2009, has appointed Rachel Roxburgh as its new chief executive. Rachel previously spent 15 years at Cancer Research UK including heading its Race for Life programme for eight years. She can be contacted on 01753 789 053.

St John Wales  

First aid charity St John Wales has appointed its former chancellor, Dan Clayton-Jones as its new chief executive. He has been involved with the charity for ten years.

Jackie Killeen

Big Lottery Fund 

The Big Lottery Fund has appointed Jackie Killeen as its new Scotland director. Jackie was previously the head of policy and public affairs for BIG in Scotland, and replaces Dharmendra Kanani after his move to the new post of England director. Jackie can be called at 0141 242 1400.

AidEX 

Trevor Baylis OBE, has been announced as one of this year's patrons for AidEX, the humanitarian aid exhibition. Most widely recognised for his invention of the Windup Radio, Baylis will judge and support one of the key features at the event, the Aid Innovation Challenge.

Heritage Lottery Fund   


Heritage Lottery Fund has announced its latest round of trustee appointments. Professor Richard Morris and Atul Patel were appointed to the board yesterday. Dan Clayton Jones has also been re-appointed for a further six months as the trustee for Wales, and deputy chairman of the UK-wide board.
