WRVS chief executive Lynne Berry is to leave the charity this summer after four years at the helm.


Joyce Moseley

Catch22

Joyce Moseley will retire from Catch22 at the end of this year, after more than a decade in the role of chief executive.

Ricability

Big Lottery Fund

John Rose has been appointed to replace Ceri Doyle as the Big Lottery Fund's Wales director, following her appointment as director of strategy, performance and learning across the UK. To speak to John call 0207 211 1800.

Alzheimer's Society

Peter Denning has joined Alzheimer's Society as director of operations after senior roles at Mencap and Leonard Cheshire Disability. Peter can be contacted on 0207 423 3500.
Rachel Bayley

Alzheimer's Society

Alzheimer's Society has made a second senior appointment in Rachel Bayley,who joins as director of volunteering development, having moved from Community Service Volunteers. Rachel can also be contacted at 0207 423 3500.
Scott Watkin

Mencap

Scott Watkin, former co-national director for learning disability for the government's Valuing People Now strategy will be seconded to Mencap as the charity's national learning disability consultant until June, when he will take the role permanently. Scott can be contacted on 0207 454 0454.

Having covered the post since February, Martin Dalby has officially accepted the role of finance director at Penrose, a charity supporting ex-offenders and people with mental illness. Martin can be contacted on 0207 700 0100.

Tracy Griffin

Shelter

Tracy Griffin has left the NSPCC where she was held the joint roles of head of community and head of fundraising, and has joined Shelter as its director of fundraising. Her new email address is tracy_griffin@shelter.org.uk.

CAF has recently announced the appointment of its global philanthropy manager, Natalie Pinon, who has now been in the role since mid-January leading the development and management of CAF's work with global philanthropists.

Peter Copestake

Samaritan's Purse International

Peter Copestake has been appointed as vice-chairman of the UK board of Samaritan's Purse International. He has been on the board for four years.

Mark Thomas

Billy Graham Evangelistic Association

The UK Board of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) has appointed Mark Thomas to the position of vice-chairman. Mark has been a trustee of BGEA for four years and is also a trustee of Samaritans Purse International.

Victoria Shooter, director of communications at the National Deaf Children's Society, and Steve Palmer, press and public affairs manager at the Social Care Institute for Excellence, have joined the board of the professional body for charity communicators, CharityComms. 


British Film Institute  


The British Film Institute has announced five new trustees to join its board as it takes over from the UK Film Council. They are:

Josh Berger, president and MD of Warner Bros. Entertainment UK;
Matthew Justice, managing director, Big Talk;
James Purnell, producer, Rare Day;
Lisbeth Savill, head of film and TV at Olswang solicitors;
and director Beeban Kidron
