Global Village Energy Partnership

Ben Good has been appointed chief executive of Global Village Energy Partnership (GVEP) International, succeeding Sarah Adams who is relocating outside of the UK for professional and personal reasons.

King's College Hospital Charity 

 

Mary Bishop, who led the successful merger of the Shaftesbury Society and John Grooms to form a new national disability charity Livability, has taken over from John Collinson as director of the King's College Hospital Charity. Mary can be contacted on 020 3299 3456.

The Bletchley Park Trust is to recruit a new CEO following the announcement by Simon Greenish that he is to retire later this year.

BEN

Automotive industry charity BEN has appointed Ray Diggins as its new head of marketing. Ray joins the charity sector after 22 years as head of marketing at two of UK's leading multi-franchise dealer groups.

Former ITV executive Clive Jones has been appointed to chair the board of the Disasters Emergency Committee, replacing Mike Walsh who has chaired the board since 2005.

Rita Clifton will take post as chair of environmental volunteering charity BTCV from 1 April. Rita is best known as one of the UK's foremost marketing experts and UK chairman of high-profile brand consultancy Interbrand.

Breast Cancer Campaign

Breast Cancer Campaign, a UK specialist in breast cancer research, has announced the appointment of leading hedge-fund adviser, Pascale Alvanitakis-Guély, as a trustee on its board.

Gail Scott-Spicer, director of marketing and communications at the Scout Association, has joined the board of CharityComms, the professional membership body for charity communicators. Manchester-based childrens' charity the Wood Street Mission has announced the appointment of the divisional director of stockbroker Brewin Dolphin, Robert Race, as its new chairman. 

AbilityNet


AbilityNet, a charity promoting e-accessibility and digital inclusion for people with disabilities, has appointed three new members to its board of trustees. President of BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT, Elizabeth Sparrow; marketing professional Mike Bernard; and business leader and entrepreneur Colin Knight join the existing eight board members.
