There are few surprises in the Office for Civil Society's list of strategic partners published today - equality and youth groups appear to have lost out. The government has also agreed a small top-up to the Transition Fund ahead of tomorrow's Budget. And Irene Khan has sought to clarify that her severance package included remuneration owed to her over a number of years.

Cash donations gift aid reform could net £175m

The Philanthropy Review has called on the government to reform gift aid guidelines to allow charities to claim gift aid on small cash gifts, advising such a reform could bolster charities' collective coffers by £175m a year.
