The wait for a wide-reaching umbrella group for charity IT professionals continues with the news that CCITDG doesn't feel it has the capacity to broaden its membership criteria, but at least such a move is on its agenda. Meanwhile, there is good news from Google, which has simplified its charity offerings and will be bringing Google for Nonprofits to the UK soon.

CCITDG decides not to broaden membership, for now


Members of the Charities Consortium IT Directors Group have voted against a proposal to lower the organisational income required for membership from £25m to £10m, but have not ruled out making the change in future.
