Nick Hurd has suggested the government might make more money available to the sector through the Transition Fund, as the first 18 grants are awarded. The Public Administration Select Committee is hoping to rescue the Big Society by launching an inquiry into it.  And the Charity Commission has listed its key priorities for its future strategy, though you have to read between the lines to guess at what activities the axe will fall on.
