Steve Wyler

Locality

Director of the Development Trusts Association Steve Wyler will lead the new organisation, Locality, formed after a merge with Bassac. Joanna Holmes, chief executive of Barton Hill Settlement, will take the role of chair.

David Barker

Computer Aid International

Computer Aid founder Tony Roberts has left the charity after 14 years to pursue a PhD in ICT for development. He will be replaced by David Barker, former CEO of the Chartered Accountants' Benevolent Association. Contact David on 0208 361 5540 or dbarker@computeraid.org.

The Children's Society

The Children's Society has appointed former BBC journalist Enver Solomon as its director of policy joining the charity from Barnardo's where he was assistant director of policy.

Rowena Lewis

Philanthropy Review

Rowena Lewis has become project leader on the new Philanthropy Review chaired by Marie Curie Cancer Care chief executive Thomas Hughes-Hallett. Lewis, who recently left her job as fundraising director for the Fawcett Society to focus on her Clore Fellowship and do some consulting, will work on the Review for the next six months.

Campaign to Protect Rural England

The Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE), has appointed Linda Allen as director of fundraising and supporter services. Former BBC radio broadcaster Alan Wright is the new regional chairman of sport and recreation charity Lord's Taverners in the North East taking over from Kevin Pattison.

Reprieve
