The Commission is considering if it will continue to support small charities and whether it should partner with other sector organisations as part of radical changes needed to manage its 33 per cent funding cut, an audience of sector figures has heard.

The Scottish charity regulator OSCR has launched an outreach programme for umbrella bodies and other advice-giving organisations after identifying that basic errors in advice are being made.

MS Society trustees cleared over row with Scottish council


Trustees of the MS Society have been cleared of wrongdoing in suspending the powers of the organisation's Scottish Council, with the Charity Commission confirming that they acted on specialist legal advice in good faith at all times.
