Breakthrough Breast Cancer
Chris Askew, director of fundraising at Breakthrough Breast Cancer, has been promoted to chief executive of the research and campaigning charity.

Diabetes UKDiabetes UK has appointed Baroness Barbara Young as its chief executive. Young has held CEO roles at the Environment Agency and RSPB. Most recently she was chair of the Care Quality Commission.

The chief executive of civil society infrastructure body Capacitybuilders is to leave the organisation at the end of this month to join think-tank ResPublica. Matt Leach will take on the role of associate director and head of health, housing and environmental policy research at the think-tank.

Tim Wainwright has been recruited to fill the post of chief executive on an interim, nine to 12-month basis, while a permanent successor to Jill Flynn is sought.
