3 September 2010

Greetings!

2010 has bucked the trend again with summer yielding an unusually high volume of news. We lead with a breaking story about the owner of CSDM who has spread the assets of the failed organisation across his other companies, some say jeopardising full repayment to creditors. In our features Steve Dodds says charities need to engage more with social media to reach a new generation of donors, the 1 per cent giving pledge is up for debate within the sector and the junkyard provides new revenue potential for charities. It's also time for the release of the Charity Shops Survey 2010, an overview of which we share below.

We've been hearing a lot of contrast on corporate partnerships with some doing well and others ending in abandonment of charity partners by the corporates. So we're running a quick survey to gauge the pulse of the sector.

If you have responsibility for corporate partnerships, it'd be great if you could take a few minutes to fill in the survey, thanks.
