Greetings!

If anyone still needs convincing that investing in IT brings tangible rewards (surely such people no longer exist?), this month there have been a plethora of examples. Here we look at how eBay's 'Donate at Checkout' functionality has raised £2.5m in small donations of between £1 and £5, and how Shelter raised average online donations by 100 per cent by introducing a new landing page.

eBay microdonation scheme raises £2.5m so far


eBay's 'Give at Checkout' scheme, which gives buyers the option to add a small charitable donation when making purchases, has raised £2.54m since it was launched in November 2008.
