Maria McGill

Children's Hospice Association 

Maria McGill is the new chief executive of Children's Hospice Association Scotland starting in October and taking over from Marian Keogh following her retirement. From October you can contact Maria on 0131 444 1900.
 

Anni Broadhead

Support Network 

Anni Broadhead takes over from retiree Bob Money as the chief executive of Support Network, the benevolent fund of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers. She leaves a CEO position at the Hammersmith and Fulham Citizens Advice Bureau for the role. Contact Anni by email at a_broadhead@supportnetwork.org.uk

Jubilee Action 

Nigel Edward-Few has commenced work as chief executive of Jubilee Action, an international children's charity. He leaves BibleLands, a children's charity working in the Middle East, where he was CEO.
Lumos 

Lumos has appointed Stephen Dunmore as interim chief executive on an eight-month contract from 26 July 2010 to 31 March 2011. Contact Stephen on 020 7253 6464

Leonard Cheshire Disability 

Clare Pelham is the new chief executive for Leonard Cheshire Disability. She joins from the Judicial Appointments Commission, where she was chief executive.

Richard Penney

Parkinson's UK 
 
Richard Penney has joined Parkinson's UK as director of finance & IS. Richard has a background in the private, government and voluntary sectors including as former director of finance at Barnardo's.



Tearfund 
 
Richard Gough is to leave his job as director of finance and trading at Tearfund in November to spend a winter in the alps running a ski chalet with his wife.

Dominic Bascombe

Victoria Climbié Foundation 
 
Dominic Bascombe has been appointed as the policy and communications officer at the Victoria Climbié Foundation (VCF). His prior role was with the Children's Legal Centre where he was communications officer. Email Dominic at dominic@victoria-climbie.org.uk

Robert Carter

St John's Hospice 
 
Daniel Fletcher has taken the position of fundraising director at the St John's Hospice, commencing employment in August 2010. British Red Cross 
 
Adrian Thomas is the new head of PR and public affairs at the British Red Cross. Adrian is formerly head of media relations for Help the Aged and MIND.

Zair Berry

Blue Cross 
 
Zair Berry is the new chair of Blue Cross. He takes the reins from Diane Sinclair, who has been a trustee since 1998 and chairman of the board for nine years.


Consumer Credit Counselling Service
 
Lord Stevenson is the new chair of the Foundation for Credit Counselling, which runs Charity Awards-winning Consumer Credit Counselling Service.

Royal College of Nursing 
 
The Royal College of Nursing has appointed eight further members to the RCN Foundation board of trustees - the new independent grantmaking charity that was set up once RCN itself ceased to be a charity. They are Anthony Butterworth CBE; Helen Carter; His Honour Judge John Colyer QC; Sarah Coward; Claire Hicks; Jane Miles; Nicholas Pearson and Gordon Peterkin.
