Anne Marie Carrie has been appointed as the new chief executive of Barnardo's, joining in November before replacing Martin Narey when he departs in January next year.

Andy Gregg has been appointed chief executive of Charities Evaluation Services. He will leave London Advice Services Alliance (Lasa) where he has been chief executive since 2004. From September his new email will be andy@ces-vol.org.uk

Former BBC News broadcaster Kate Adie is the new chair for the National Campaign for Arts. She succeeds Joan Bakewell, who held the role for six years.

The Institute of Fundraising has announced the appointment of four new trustees: Charlotte Trinder, Clare Anderson, Jasvir Kaur and Dawn Varley; and five new fellows: Mike Wade, Dominic Jenkins, Simon George, Daryl Upsall and Charles Gibbs.
