Genesis 22:1-14
This Sunday is Day One of the Christian liturgical calendar. What does that mean? For those who might consider imprinting their lives with the reality of God's "meta-narrative"-to become a part of God's larger story-this season begins our year with Christ. So we start a twelve-month period with important questions: What reason did God have to visit our world in Jesus Christ? Why is it often talked about that he will "come again"?
