Here is a conclusion that has taken me nearly thirty years to come to... those who have a proper relationship to the Bible never need to speak of the Bible as their authority nor do they speak of their submission to the Bible. They are so in tune with God, so in love with him, that the word 'authority' is swallowed up in loving God. Even more, the word 'submission' is engulfed in the disposition of listening to God speak through the Bible and in the practice of doing what God calls us to do.

Sunday Worship Service

@ 10:30am

This Sunday at City Life Church we are looking at an episode in the Abraham saga that is vivid. Parts of the story will repulse some. For others, parts of the story will sparkle with God's grace. Either way, it is an excellent test-case for you to consider listening to a perspective outside of your own. Can you be open to the possibility that the Bible has something to offer you that you won't find elsewhere? Can you have the integrity to put pre- judgments and pre-conditions aside, and be open to knowing a grace-filled God?

All are welcome to visit our worship service any week. City Life Church meets for worship @
