Here, in this quote by George MacDonald, you see another "saint"--a great leader in the faith--who had recurring doubt bothering him his entire life. Whether it's Mother Teresa, the famous Doubting Thomas or the more ancient Father Abraham, doubt is there to pull on the faith of even the strongest believer.
Do you know that many have seen their doubts as the venue through which spiritual transformation and progress has become available like never before? That seems to be the case with Abraham. At City Life this Sunday, we'll look at his doubt and God's response to it, as we look at one of the most important passages in the whole Bible.
