I never saw a discontented tree. They grip the ground as though they liked it, and though fast rooted they
travel about as far as we do.

Sunday Worship Service

@ 10:30am

Are you starting something new this week? A new job, a new semester, a new living situation, a new relationship? As fall begins at City Life, it is one of the few times in the year when we think about hitting the "reset" button and meditating on the next phase of life.

Have you ever started the fall season with an eye to where you want to be on January 1? It's only about 100 days away! Do you want to look back and say "nothing really happened.. it's time to set some new resolutions" or "Wow! What a satisfying, meaningful season THAT was--it's time to build on that!"

This Sunday, we'll do some pondering on that second option, and try to grasp how the first Psalm (in a book of 150) frames the spiritual journey for us... and possibly frames the next 100 days!
