We have the hospitality industry, and parties are hosted to entice large donors, but most of us don't really feel very equipped to make room in our lives for other people--such as strangers--especially when there doesn't seem to be an advantage to us, or when it feels like an interruption or intrusion to our plans.
This Sunday we begin a 4-week message series on the pillars of City Life Church, and one of those founding principles is invitation or radical hospitality. What if being genuinely hospitable to others is at the heart of showing the uniqueness of following Jesus? What if something about knowing Jesus also equips us to swim upstream and open up our lives to others? Come on Sunday and explore this with us!
