Celebrate National Family History Month @ the Library

October is National Family History Month. If you have always wanted to explore your family history, now may be the right time to get started.

The Library has resources in the print collection and online resources, including ancestry.com,

to help you get started. We also have a long-standing partnership with the Waterford Genealogical Society (WGS). Their members have been assisting beginners and seasoned genealogists alike since their inception over 20 years ago.

The WGS holds 3 meetings each month at the Library. They meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at 1:00p., and the 2nd Thursday of the month at 7:00p. You don't need to be a member to attend, just interested in genealogical research.
