The League of Women Voters Oakland Area has a Voter Guides web page which covers all the various races and proposals of all Oakland County for the August 7, 2012 election. They do not publish a paper guide for the August election, so to read their information you'll need to view it online.

Programs for All Ages
August offerings:
Summer Reading prizes - don't forget to come in to get yours. If you've met your reading goals you will receive a Waterford Library Book bag, a pool pass to the Waterford School District's Pool and Fitness Centers, and coupons for local businesses. All students who complete their reading goals by Saturday, July 28, will be entered into our drawing. You might win books, gift cards, book bags, t-shirts, games, craft kits, passes to local businesses, or other cool stuff. If you don't finish by July 28, keep on reading. We will distribute prizes through Labor Day Weekend.
And, for those hot August afternoons we have a full line-up of matinee movies scheduled.
Summer Reading is winding down. Final entries must be in by Sunday, August 12. Grand Prize Drawing on Monday, August 13! Follow the link for details.
