Uh-oh ... I should have known better than to use the word "final". Let me start by clarifying. The "final" e-mail I sent yesterday was not a listing of every Georgia member who had a top finish throughout the entire week. It was the "final update" from the last couple of days that had not been updated. This was in addition to the updates sent earlier in the week.
Forget that I used the word "final" because we have two more TOP 10 finalists at the Youth World!!
Congratulations to:
- Justin Marino (AR HOT AND SWEET) finished 4th in the World in Performance Halter Mares. Justin did not compete on the Georgia team but is a GQHYA member and many of you know him from our shows.
- Jaclyn Beckley (JDG All the Rage) finished 10th in the World in Three Year Old Geldings. I also noticed that Jaclyn's horse was bred right here in Georgia by Jerry and Danelle Griffin in Maysville!
I will be updating the Youth page at www.gqha.com this week after I talk to Mrs. Cyndi to be sure I have everything correct.
