Thanks for your continued prayers for Pastor Simon Akpolu.
The news on Pastor Simon continues to be encouraging. He has spend this entire week undergoing physical therapy from the staff in Ghana. In a telephone call today from our director Sammy Lartey, he said "Simon is doing very well according to the medicals in Accra. His physio is yielding positive results and the surgery is still planned for tomorrow."
 You can see from these photographs from Ghana that we are all grateful for God's mercy in sparing Pastor Simon's life.  While the picture may not clearly communicate the severity of the wreck, knowing the road on which Simon was traveling , I assure you, this brother was really being guarded by our Heavenly Father. Please continue to pray for him and our entire team in Ghana. He will still need your financial support on a regular basis, in that his recovery time will be very long. Our next trip to Ghana is scheduled for late September and we will certainly want to communicate your sincere blessings to Pastor Simon and the team. Thank you for all your involvement in the life of these men you have never met. |
