PLEASE CONTINUE PRAYING
Pastor Simon shows signs of improvement!
Akpolu

The news from Ghana continues to be somewhat encouraging.  Simon was able to have two MRI scans on Wednesday.  After two days of searching a working MRI was located and Simon was transported to the hospital for the exam and then returned to his hospital in Accra. The ordeal was difficult, but this is now behind him.

The MRI revealed a series of breaks in Simon's neck and back which will require a "rod" to be permanently inserted.

As suspected, no treatment will be administered until funds are forthcoming!  This operation costs about $1400.00 USD (cheap to you and me but a fortune to them).  Pastor Sammy Lartey has already borrowed almost this same amount to cover the initial expenses incurred since Sunday's accident, to the tune of 15% interest.

We are trying to raise the necessary $3,000 to pay for all the expenses today.  As of today we have roughly half of this amount, but nothing can be done for Simon until we wire the money to Ghana!

I won't be wordy.  The need is now, today.  What do we do?  What can you do? Can you make your most generous gift to this today?  Click here is send something with you Credit Card or by mail.  Once on that page, simply click on the PayPal link at the bottom of that page.  I really need to Western Union the funds to Sammy tomorrow morning.

I spoke with both Sammy and Simon today and both are extremely worried.  Simon, thankful to be alive, expressed his appreciation to everyone who continues to pray for him.  Sammy, is more depressed than I have ever heard him, because he feels the intense burden of this entire situation -- including the financial pressure.

PLEASE DO NOT STOP PRAYING.

As with all things in our ministry in Ghana we will be trusting God to provide for the financial burden that is already mounting.  These men do not have health insurance and the cost for the care for all our men on the ground will fall on God's people who provide for their needs.
