PLEASE CONTINUE PRAYING
Pastor Simon Akpolu injured in Accident
 {Tuesday. July 20 -- 10:00 am] We have
just received encouraging new regarding our friend in Ghana, Pastor
Simon Akpolu. To
begin, he was moved to the hospital in Accra but
the MRI equipment was not working, or as they say there, it is "spoiled"
(a common problem in Ghana).
Pastor Sammy Lartey is trying to see if he can find another hospital in
any
nearby cities that have working equipment! However, despite the fact
that exact
problems have not yet been determined, Simon is able to move his arms
and legs
a little today! Sammy said he is not able to move his neck or his
"waist,"
which in Ghana
may likely refer to his lower back. THIS IS GREAT NEWS in light of just
24
hours ago! PLEASE CONTINUE PRAYING as we still have no definitive
answers as
to what is precisely wrong and what needs to be done. Pray that medical
equipment can be located or repaired. You
can see how grateful we need to be here in the US, that in spite of our
problems
we still have care readily available. In our travels it is so common to
see
ill-equipped facilities or non-functional equipment, with no idea or
even
urgency regarding the status of repair. PLEASE
DO NOT STOP PRAYING.
As with all things in our ministry in Ghana we will be trusting God to provide for the financial burden that is already mounting. These men do not have health insurance and the cost for the care for all our men on the ground will fall on God's people who provide for their needs. If you would like to give a designated gift to help offset the costs to Simon and Sammy, please click here and you will be directed to our giving page on our website. Be sure and note Pastor Simon on the memo line of your gift.
