What a marvelous privilege has been ours in this just completed ministry project in Ghana, West Africa. In all, since we left on March 11th, we were able to share the Gospel in 160 different ministry venues where we witnessed 28,290 individuals indicate their first-time decision to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. This has been a supernatural outpouring of God's spirit upon His Word and work.
While it is easy to be overwhelmed by these large numbers, I can assure you that each person was an individual. Consider three (3) examples
1. The eight (8) Muslim students who were attending the Catholic school in Adidome who, after hearing and receiving the Gospel, literally begged us for a copy of the Bible in both English and Arabic, so they could share the message with more of their family and friends.
2. Joseph, whom we met at the Akosombo port. This security guard in an empty parking lot listened to the message of God as I shared it with him. When I asked him if he would like to invite Jesus into his heart, bowed his head and prayed. He, like the students, begged me for a copy of the Bible and we took him one the next day.
3. Foster, a worker at a neighboring hotel who came to visit us one day. Foster, whom I have know for several years had always told us that he was a Christian, but when I had the chance to talk to him at length this time, indicated that he had never asked Jesus into his life. Within a few moments, Foster bowed his head and his heart and surrendered to Jesus.
While it is impossible to share stories like this with all of the people we saw, I can tell you that each

person has a story. I know the angels in heaven rejoiced and rejoiced because of those who received Christ.
