Ministry Update

The songwriter wrote:

Greeting cards have all been sent
The Christmas rush is through
But I still have one more wish to make
A special one for you

My Christmas wish for you is a prayer that comes from Rev. Sammy Lartey, our national ministry director in Ghana, West Africa.  When I spoke with him this morning, he expressed the following to all our friends here in the USA (and around the globe):

Dearly beloved in America.  I bring you deepest, heart-felt greetings and love from your dear co-laborers in dark Ghana.  I say dark, because so very many people are yet to hear the precious message of Jesus Christ.  It is my your generous support that we are able to travel into the remote and distant hinterlands of Africa with the powerful Word of God.

I know that the current economic trials in our world are no frustration for our heavenly father, but rather a divine opportunity for us to trust Him in fullness.

I pray that your faith will be stronger, like a rope, in these days, and you will find the grace to trust God to continue to supply your needs according to His boundless supply and that you will ask Him how you can be involved in helping GEM reach Ghana for Christ.  As we come to the last days of 2009, I am joining you in trusting God to prove again and again His ample provision for all our ministry.

I thank God for my brother Sammy and all the other members of our team in Ghana.  These are truly the choice servants of Christ.  Until Jesus comes, I remain

Yours, in the fulfilling of the Great Commission,
