Jesus is the Reason for the Season!

Dear Friends ...
The coming year affords us with the continued, incredible, ministry opportunities around the world. In the face of the obvious changing times, Global Evangelism Ministries (GEM) is committed to the call of global evangelism in every way possible.
Today, as never before, I sense the urgency of the hour. I believe Jesus is, soon, coming again. Whatever we are going to do in reaching the world for Christ -- we must do it now -- with a shared sense of urgency.
We have a December need of $37,000, To meet this challenge requires an outpouring of support from people like you who believe in this ministry. This is not just about meeting needs, it's about ministry.
Let me share with you again, our most pressing needs for the upcoming year. Each of these needs are directly related to our ministry around the world:
- Ghana Pastors' Annual Support ($12,000)
Each
of our 20 village pastors receive a monthly support of $50. This
translates to our December need of $12,000 to support these godly men
in Ghana. We
need 20 individuals to commit a lump-sum , annual gift of $600. Perhaps
someone will share with their Sunday School class, Life-Group, Bible
Study group, or church this opportunity for direct involvement in world
missions.
Bibles For Distribution Around the World ($15,000)
As
God continues to open doors of opportunity for our ministry around the
globe we need additional bibles to distribute to new believers. In every project we provide a bible to every student in the schools where we minister. At every film crusade we give a New Testament to every person who indicates their decision to receive Jesus Christ. In
schools we provide a Study Bible to each Head Master who pledges to
begin a Bible Study class for the students and the village.
A Second Field Vehicle ($10,000)
The size and scope of our ministry in Ghana has grown to the point that we must have a second ministry vehicle in Ghana. Not only will the vehicle be used during our two field projects, but it will be used by our staff in Ghana year-round. This
will enable both our Director and his assistant to travel to the remote
villages on a regular basic to disciple, train, and encourage our
pastors who are serving in the difficult locales. We
have located a strong, used Land Rover in Ghana and will be able to
purchase this prior to our Dental/Evangelistic Project in March.
All of us at Global Evangelism Ministries rejoice in God's enabling grace that has provided one more year of fulfilling His call and meeting the challenges that accompany it. I feel especially thankful for your willingness to share in this work and look to you to help us continue our commitment to proclaim the Gospel in 2010.
