"I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone -- for kings
and those in authority..."

-- 1 Timothy 3: 1-2a

During these tumultuous  times it seems that everyone has an opinion about what needs to be done in the world.  The clarion call from scripture still sounds forth.  We must pray!  As with all the questions of life, JESUS IS THE ANSWER.

Yesterday, I read a most troublesome news report about an United Nations World Summit on Food Security.  The summit was held in Rome and the disturbing speech came from Libyan Leader Muammar al-Qaddafi who told the women that Christ came for the Jews, but that Mohammed came for everyone.   Click here to read the entire report.

The fundamental truth is this:  Christians are loosing the battle because we are afraid to speak the truth to people in our circles of influence.  You may never have the forum that the United Nations affords, but you do have a platform each day!  You have the opportunity to share your faith with friends, family members, and colleagues.

While there is, and will continue to be, frustration over the policies of those in authority in our country, we have the answer for them.  The answer is not a policy rather the answer is a person.  Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life ..."  Will you, right now, ask God to give you the determination and conviction to share His eternal love with a lost, and dying world.

As we move toward the seasons of Thanksgiving and Christmas, I am praying that you will fully grasp the fact that JESUS is the reason for the season!  Share the Gospel with everyone you see.

Thank you for your continued interest in what God is doing through the work of Global Evangelism Ministries.  Until Jesus comes, I remain

Yours, in the fulfilling of the Great Commission,
