***UPDATE FROM VIETNAM***
Dr. Roy D. Mason, Jr.
What a marvelous Lord we serve! His blessings are evident in all that we are doing here. His grace is sufficient, His love is indescribable, and his mercy endures for ever! Praise His Mighty Name!
Our After our ministry in the Mekong Delta we have entered stage two of our project. The ministry in Ho Chi Min City continues to go well.
Pastors' Conference Ministry We have now completed the first two days of the Pastors Conference here, which was the major emphasis of the project in this city. The days begin with a first message around 8:00 am and includes additional training seminars from our three preachers, Jeff Andler, Tim Flower, and myself. It has been refreshing to witness what God is doing in the lives of so many people here. The conference includes both pastors and church leaders from the city and the outlying areas of the country. It is rare that these leaders have the opportunity to participate in such training. The expressions of the faces of these reveal their appreciation for our labors.
Praise the Lord for His continued blessings!
As the pastors gathered together this morning we witnessed God move in an incredible way on the lives of many of the people present. In the middle of the message it was apparent that God's spirit was moving in a mighty way as men and woman came forward confessing and repenting of the many things in their lives that they believed were hindering them from being used by God. Pictured here you can see the people gathered for prayer following their time of surrender and testimony. It is our prayer that this was the beginning true revival in the country of Vietnam!A Word from our Team Members Pastor Tim Fowler from South Carolina has been a vital part of our ministry team here. His passion for preaching the Word of God and his love for the servants of God has been evident in his ministry here. When asked about the pastors' conference and overall ministry in Vietnam Tim quipped,
"It appears that the pastors have a genuine hunger to learn more of God's word and how to prepare themselves for evangelistic and pulpit ministries."
Long time ministry colleague and coordinator of this particular project, Jeff Andler has been involved in ministry all around the world. While Jeff is primarily an evangelist, God continues to use him in various ministry settings. When thinking about the role of a "trainer" Jeff said ... "I have never thought that I was totally adequate to be used to "train" other men of God, but I thank Him for this opportunity and am trusting Him to use all of our team members to encourage and motivate our Vietnamese brothers and sisters to greater excellence in ministry."
As you read and view these pages it is important to know that it is through the work of life-long friend, Andy Poe of Apex, NC that you are able to view these images. Andy, whom I have know for all of his life is rapidly becoming an integral part of the GEM family. God continues to move in his life and on his heart to become involved with our ministry in more of a full-time role. I have been amazed at the wonderful heart of Andy and his selfless commitment to sharing his abilities with us and with you. Andy quickly noted "I am not a pastor nor am I a preacher, but I am a photographer and videographer. I have the talents to simply record events and try and tell stories for others to see. I hope that you will be able to get a look at what God is doing through Global Evangelism Ministries both here and around the world."
"Go into all the world and preach the Gospel!"
Thank you for your continued support of Global Evangelism Ministries.
Thank you for your continued interest in what God is doing through the work of Global Evangelism Ministries. Until Jesus comes, I remain
Yours, in the fulfilling of the Great Commission,
